Elections before Zambia
Some of the Causalities of any election and that might repeat itself kaili (because) people have a deliberate tendency to ignore history.
As the country prepares for the 2016 general elections, some candidates for parliamentary, local government including the presidential elections are selling off property with a hope of replacing them once they form government after august the 11th.
They will keep on “hold” the duty to pay rentals for homes, business places, even school fees for their children with assurance that we are winning the polls.
Some will tell their landlords “don’t worry money is not a problem, we are the incoming government” don’t you want contracts mu boma?
Homes, vehicles ma phones, shoes nama TV, name them will be sold at give away offers for nomination fees, others to pay supporters for hire pa supreme court.
Others will insult their bosses even beating their supervisors, what can you say to me, iwe (you)? I will be your boss mailo (tomorrow) wait chabe my president is winning.
Journalists are also in the wagon; they will be used and made to forget their ethics because somebody has written their name in the book of “immediate” recruits for deployment in the government.
Remember those days at school ati your name is in the black book of the headteacher, a black book which am sure was white, nobody ever saw that book. I didn’t.
Easy guys put your faith in God, your time is coming, don’t depend on Man. Man disappoints but God appoints.
Work hard perfect your art and be content with what you have at the moment.
